 We first hired Salem Chimney for an estimate on maintenance for our chimney. Rhett was great and was a straight shooter about some issues that had been created by shortcuts the previous homeowners had taken. He recommended some services that would keep the chimney properly maintained. He also looked at an old wood stove in our basement and got us up to speed on whether it was safe to use (it wasn't) and gave us options for if we wanted to replace it. On a separate occasion, we hired them again to replace our chimney cap. Chris and Rhett were super nice and did excellent work at a fair price. Scheduling and billing was easy and great, too! This company is trustworthy all around and are doing things right.

  Everything from the phone call to make the appointment to when Ryan completed the job was 5 stars. We needed our chimmney cleaned and inspected so it was safe to use for the winter. Ryan showed up 5 minutes early, was very friendly and thoroughly inspected every part of the chimmney and fireplace. He was respectful of our property, prevented and cleaned any mess from ash or soot and gave advice to us for what to do as the fireplace gets older. This is the second time we have hired this company and both times they were above and beyond what would be expected. There was excellent communication from making the appointment to appointment reminders and even day of updates of Ryan being on his way. Since our chimmney was so clean already Ryan found it to be unnecessary to charge full price so a discount on the final bill was applied. I have called other chimmney services in the area and this companies prices are competitive and fair. If you need your chimmey cleaned, fireplace inspected, and peace of mind when having a fire warming your home - call these folks. You will not find better. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. 

 Chris and Rhett are the epitome of knowledgeable professionals in their field that deliver service with a smile!!! These guys went above and beyond, delivering results beyond mine and my husband's wildest dreams, sharing in our vision from start to finish and bringing it to life!! There aren't enough characters in these reviews to praise all that they repaired, rebuilt, and restored in our sanctuary, and we would highly recommend them to any and all in the market for anything chimney or fireplace related!! They are also more than willing to teach you all you need to know to maintain their work long after they're done. The photos hardly do it justice! It was truly a labor of love from all involved, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome!!!
